Game Drives & Wildlife
Nyala Safari Lodge sits inside Balule Nature Reserve, part of the Greater Kruger National Park, where the Big 5 roam freely. Guests join twice-daily game drives led by guides such as Amy or Christelle, who track animals using years of local knowledge. A highlight is the overnight bush trail, which includes a campfire dinner and stargazing in the reserve.
Accommodation & Grounds
The lodge offers five rondavels with colonial-style decor, private plunge pools, and both indoor and outdoor showers. Each room has a safety deposit box and a private terrace with views over the riverbed. The property also features a scenic viewing deck overlooking a floodlit waterhole where elephants and giraffes come to drink.

Meals are served in the rustic boma overlooking the waterhole, with a three-course dinner prepared by chefs Shylet and Kutso.
